China Mug

Swinging….hanging….lounging…..sitting…..that's what apes do best!

These china mugs, beautifully designed by Alice Shields, are the perfect addition to any tea or coffee drinker's collection.

Each mug is decorated with Alice's original pen and watercolour illustrations of some of our chimpanzees and gorillas - Little Vicky, Jackie and Lissy, Chickaboo, Avishag and her son Eto'o, and Shai. Alice individually applies each illustration to the mugs in her studio in Bristol. She then fires the mugs in her kiln, giving each of them a certain uniqueness.

Each mug is individually bubble wrapped and comes safely packaged in a recycled cardboard box.
